AMY GALLIMORE

Amy Gallimore is the Creative Director and CEO of Four16 Training Solutions located in beautiful Richmond, Virginia.  Amy believes that storytelling and humor within an experiential learning model are a strategy for success in leadership training for every level from executive retreats to student membership organizations.  She skillfully uses humor and her real life experiences as an approach to delivering the curriculum designed to show participants that optimism is essential to effective leadership.  Her on-stage presentations are captivating, genuine, and original as she challenges audiences to change their approach from looking at leadership as “a job” to “an attitude.”  Her approach to curriculum development centers on a philosophy that her team is part of the company and all material should be carefully tailored to the organization and something they are proud to call their own.

With over 25 years of experience, Amy is no stranger to business, government, membership organizations, leadership in the community, and development of community partnerships.  She determined her life’s work was to be a “professional talker” in the second grade and achieved her first opportunities to speak and lead by the 4th grade through 4-H.  She received her undergraduate degree in Speech Communications from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the University of Georgia, where she obtained her master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration.  From camps to executive leadership training, she has the expertise and experience to make your event shine!

Amy became the first Coordinator of Campus Housing at Kennesaw State University, where she led the Fighting Owls in developing and opening their first two phases of their campus housing experience.  She received the KSU Employee of the Year award, as well as the Young Professional of the Year from the Georgia College Personnel Association for her work.

Amy continued her work in youth development where she focused her attention on creating curriculum and leadership and citizenship programs for Tennessee 4-H.  With over 300,000 members, she created original regional and statewide events, training, and in-services to 4-H members, agents, and volunteers.

Before launching Four16 Training Solutions in 2014, Amy provided keynote messages, leadership training, and curriculum to approximately over 130,000 a year in 49 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada.  These messages were delivered to Career Technical Student Organizations, college campuses, service organizations, and faith-based institutions.

She and her husband, Jay, reside in metropolitan Richmond where she hoards Sharpies, attempts amateur card tricks, and religiously wears sunscreen. She is in diligent pursuit of trying to make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich and firmly believes that kindness is reciprocated, words are powerful but actions often speak louder, and every life has an amazing story.

His memberships include the Project Management Institute, Association of the United States Army, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

In his free time, he loves his wife’s increasingly successful card tricks and reaps the benefits of the many attempts for grilled cheese perfection. The boys are off at college and he helps his wife with her great company.
